Hanging Ditch

Hanging Ditch wine merchants is an independent wine specialist, ideally situated in Manchester's historic surroundings, next to the Cathedral and Harvey Nichols. The shop opened in July 2008 and is modelled on a 'vinoteca' concept. Wines by the glass are available from a rotating selection or by the bottle to drink in or take away. Locally roasted coffee, speciality teas, bottled beers and soft drinks are also available.

At Hanging Ditch wine merchants we champion esoteric and high quality wines at all price-points. We taste all our wines before they go on the shelf to make sure we never compromise on quality and are constantly searching for the best wines we can find.

We aim to take the fear factor out of wine. Come in, relax, select a glass or bottle from our constantly rotating range and if you like it then buy a bottle to take home!
