Served at the 2017 Copa Jerez, a food and Sherry pairing competition, this twist on a Cobbler pairs the distinct nuttiness of three styles of Sherry, sweet-tart berries, and herbal tarragon for a perfect summer libation.

Williams & Humbert Dry Sack Medium Dry
.5 oz
Williams & Humbert Dos Cortados Palo Cortado VOS
.75 oz
Williams & Humbert Don Zoilo Pedro Ximenez

strawberries
3-4
blackberries
.75 oz
fresh lemon juice
1 sprig
fresh tarragon
Directions
Muddle berries with fresh lemon juice in a mixing glass, then add rest of ingredients. Shake with ice and strain over ice cobbles into a rocks glass. Garnish with a strawberry and fresh tarragon.

Pairing Medium with food
The ideal temperature to serve a Medium Sherry is at between 12 and 14ºC, though this will depend upon the form and moment of service.
Besides being a pleasant aperitif, served chilled it is the most suitable wine to accompany pâté, quiche and any especially spicy dish (curried rice, etc...).
