Perfect Sherroni

Starring Oloroso

A riff on the classic (and increasingly popular) negroni.

Ingredients

1 ounce 
Oloroso Sherry
1/2 ounce 
Dry Vermouth
3/4 ounce 
Vermouth di Torino
1/2 ounce 
Campari

Directions

Stir ingredients together with ice, strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.

Garnish with an orange wedge.

Pairing Oloroso with food

The ideal temperature at which to serve an Oloroso is at between 12 and 14ºC. 

This is the most suitable wine to accompany red meat and game. It combines perfectly with meat stews and casseroles; especially gelatinous meat such as bull's tail or cheeks. The perfect match for wild mushrooms and well cured cheeses.
