Denominations of origin "Jerez-Xérès-Sherry" and "Manzanilla - Sanlúcar de Barrameda" to participate in first-ever “Wine on earth taste-a-thon” on June 17

A series of virtual tastings hosted by 16 wine regions from Australia, France, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Spain, South Africa and the United States.

The Sherry Wines Regulatory Council announced its participation in the Wine On Earth Taste-A-Thon, a day of virtual tastings hosted by some of world’s most renowned wine regions. The Taste-A-Thon, which will take place on Wednesday, June 17, will feature tastings organized online by wine producers and trade associations from 16 wine regions representing eight countries: Australia, France, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Spain, South Africa and the United States. 

Celebrate with Sherry wines the global "wine on earth" movement! We're embracing this new, exciting and interactive way of getting together to taste and learn more about wine at home.

On behalf of @sherrywinesjerez we invite all #sherrylovers around the world to join the following master class: "The Diversity of Dry Sherries" from their tablets, smartphones or computers while tasting the four types of Sherry wine.

The director of the Consejo Regulador of the DO Jerez-Xeres-Sherry y Manzanilla de Sanlucar de Barrameda in Jerez , César Saldaña  will conduct this amazing, highly technical , and in-depth tasting of remarkable Dry Sherry wines:

1º Solear Manzanilla from Bodegas Barbadillo

2º Tío Pepe Fino from Bodegas González Byass 

3º Tío Diego Amontillado from Valdespino - Grupo Estévez

4º Oloroso Don Zoilo from Bodegas Williams & Humbert
