2017 Great Sherry Tasting

Taking place in central London, the Great Sherry Tasting welcomes over 400 guests from across the UK trade, including retailers, sommeliers, press, merchants, importers and educators. Event host, Beltran Domecq, president of the CRDO Jerez y Manzanilla commented: "This past year has continued to provide good news for our Sherry business in the UK - with new Sherry bars continuing to pop up in metropolitan areas; premium sales of Sherry predicated to rise and increasing a further 18% by 2021; as well as Majestic's recent news of growth in Sherry sales of 46%."

Domecq continued: "The event next month is the sixth annual Great Sherry Tasting, and I am delighted once again to be hosting the event on behalf of all 28 producers represent, some of who we are also pleased to welcome in person."

With new producers attending, some looking for UK agents, and visiting winemakers, the Great Sherry Tasting always has something new, even for the most knowledgeable Sherry fans.

In addition, in November, the UK will celebrate International Sherry Week (6-13 November) and guests attending the Great Sherry Tasting will have the opportunity to discuss forthcoming events and promotions with producers and event organisers.
